As our computer has gone reaaly slow we've been told to "clear cookies,clear coche,clear spam" but we don't know how to. plz help thanx

first of all, do you run any anti-virus software? if you do (mcaffee, norton, are two examples) then update them and do a full scan with them.

secondly, do you have any spyware removal software? if not, download and install Ad-Aware.

What internet browser do you use? Just standard internet explorer? If so, open it up and goto tools->internet options. click the 'delete cookies' and 'delete files' buttons

If you use Internet Explorer (IE) -

Tools - Internet Options - General

Delete cookies - delete files - clear history.


This will delete cookies, clear the temporary internet files and your browsing history.

You will probably notice your computer runs a lot faster.

You will then need to run anti-spyware and trojan hunters.

Yup - just to to www.lavasoft.com and then ad-aware personal and download..... it's great.

Oh - forgot - AVG antivirus is free and v good as well. Good luck.
