In regard to my question on broadband and apple macs, Ive not sorted it yet,

I just dont know where to start.......am i setting up the internet on my laptop or the main pc?

Which instructions do I use??? do i just follow wannadoos instructions on how to set up a laptop to the broadband??? as there doesnt seem to be much info

From what I understand, you have a Livebox thingy, which gives you a wifi signal. And I assume that you have a cable from the Livebox to your main PC.

So, you need to set up the wifi with the Livebox, if it isn't already. How to do this, I'm not sure. I would assume that it came with some instructions, but I really don't know.

Once the wifi is activated, then you can (assuming your Powerbook has an airport card already) connect to the internet as it says here and here.
I've got a wanadoo livebox and I've connected my laptop onto it wirelessly but you need to pair the 2 devices first!

Once you've turned on the Wi-fi on the laptop you need to press the '1' button on the livebox and you will see the signal on your laptop as it pairs up. Once you've done this, it'll ask for the WEP key which you should already have on the Wanadoo CD software which came with the box.

The 2 devices are now set up and you can connect wirelessly to the internet!
