Windows Media Player

HELP! Windows MP has been installed on my PC for a few years now without a problem.

But recently when I play a tune it'll get about 30 secs into the song and then the music stops and the whole thing disappears from the screen. It's as if the media player has just unloaded itself from the computer. Also, the same thing happens when I play a CD on it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try installing windows media player 11. this if the problem continues then you know its not a fault with the player
