Help! I've crashed my ipod!

I was just looking at the 'extras' and was in the stopwatch section when the screen just froze. None of the buttons work (and I've checked that the hold button isn't flicked) and I've tried plugging into the PC and restarting but it's still on the same screen. Does anyone know what I can do?
Please tell me I haven't broken it as I've only had it for a week!

you need to press the center button and the menu button at the same time for 5-10 seconds this will force a reboot.
