I'm sure that I remember having seen an answer on AB ages ago where someone was looking for a particular song but only knew part of the lyrics and someone had suggested a site where you can type in hat you know and get an answer. Does anyone remember what site it was ? I've had a go trying to find it but had no joy. Any help is much appreciated x

i usually go to http://letssingit.com/ ....just type the words of the song in the search window and select the option 'lyrics words' (scroll down from 'artist name') then click 'search' and enjoy...
This may sound obvious but I have always had most success just by Googling with double-quotes - make sure the words are exact.
just be careful if you use letssingit.com - make sure your protection is up to date because the site is riddled with spyware - sid
I'm with QM on this one, I find typing the words "song lyrics" and then the artists name way more successful on Google.

Thanks guys. I did go to that site lil'frog but as you said morials , it seems to be riddled with spyware. My software deleted nearly a dozen in th short time I was on it , so I made a hasty retreat. I'm only just recently back online after my PC was crippled with a virus so i'm trying to be as careful as I can. As for googling the lyrics , I only know two lines so i've drawn a blank. I did try but it didn't churn up anything useful. It was a song I liked years ago which I heard on the radio a few times and never knew the name of even then. Oh well , it was worth a try. Thanks for the help though x
