Nintendo DS and Gameboy games.

I have just purchased a DS for my 6 year old daughter which she is getting on very well with but when I have looked to get her new games there does not seem to be a huge choice for her age/interests. I have heard that Gameboy games are compatible and was just hoping that someone could confirm this before I start searching their range. If so does it include G.B.Advance and do they work totally as they should? Many thanks.

Yes, I belive the DS is totally compatible with Advanced games, as well as Color and original GameBoy games.
