External memory
2 Answers
I'm thinking about getting an external memory drive to store music and video on my computer, can anyone reccommend what i should get? I had a look on amazon and there seems to be some good ones which hold loooaaads but they cost around &100- are there any with a little less memory- maybe 50-100GB which are a bit cheaper?

to be honest, i wouldn't recommend a freecom external drive. i got one for christmas and although it worked fine for 6 months, one day it just stopped working.
i asked for advice on the forum on the freecom website and there were loads of other people with exactly the same problem. in the end, the freecom support people told me it needed replacing and they sent me a new one.
problem was, they don't offer a data recovery service, so i lost a load of files!
i'd rather they gave me a refund so i could've gone and bought something different and hopefully a bit more reliable.
