When we are told that there are some doggy Emails being sent out, and not to open them, how do you do this because if you click on them to delete them it will open them. Can anyone please tell me how to overcome this problem.

They should only open on a double-click. If they are opening on a single-click, try right-clicking and selecting "delete" instead.

Normally opening an e-mail is no problem, if it is plain text.

The problem is in the attachment, do not open the file that is attached.

Yes, there is a way of overcoming this problem, anotheoldgit. I was shown this a few years ago and I've never had an email open yet that has been selected.

1.Open Outlook Express and select View.
2. Click Layout.
3. Scroll down to Preview Pane and uncheck Show preview pane.

Try using MailWasher, there is a free version. You can see the first 20 lines before downloading/opening it. If it's one you'd rather not have you can bounce it so the sender thinks you don't exist and stop sending.
