Freeview Boxes
6 Answers
Can anyone recommend any of the newer Freeview digiboxes? We are about to dump Sky and move over to Freeview. I'm amazed at how many of the Freeview boxes have poor reviews on forums - poor picture, locking up, slow channel change etc. I'm looking at Sagem, Humax and (Digi)Fusion. Also thinking of buying the dearer twin-tuner and HD recorder versions. There is a new Sony with Freeview. Any help appreciated. (Already have a DVD recorder with HD drive).

I'd also advise against getting a top up TV box - it may be cheap when you compare it to sky or cable, but in my opinion, it isn't even worth what you do pay.
Regarding picture quality, I think this depends on your aerial and where you are - I don't have any problems, apart from maybe when it's stormy, but then I had that when I had Sky.
