Sound problems

My sound card is running fine for running media player, itunes, nero etc. However, I can't listen to any videos that play via internet explorer or Mozilla.

I know there must be a setting that I can change, but I need to know wht it is / where it is.

Try double-clicking the volume icon in your system tray - make sure all the sliders are tuned up and not muted. Also go to the Volume Control's Options>Properties and get it to show ALL options, making the same check.
