I recently got a widescreen computer moniter for my computer. It's a standard windows xp machine, with an Intel(R) extreme graphics cards. Is there a setting anywhere that let me change it it to recognise this?

it should see it straight away.my widescreen monitor has an 'auto' bnutton which adjusts the display to fit the screen - maybe yours has too ?
The documentation that came with your monitor should tell you the native resolution of the display.

Right-click a clear area of the desktop and choose Properties to bring up the display properties dialog
Click the Settings tab.

Select the correct screen resolution.

As your graphics adaptor is a Super-Economy-Bottom-of-the- Range model, this may not be possible!

This is good, but the display is streched, it does not actually increase the size of the display, merly strech it to fit, which looks naff.
