Burning onto 800mb cd's

HELP! I have purchased Varbatim High Capacity CD-R 90min 800mb CD's from Amazon but my computer (and NERO) only read these as having a memory of 702mb. Why is this? Do i need to download anything else for my computer to recognise them as 800mb??

I would go to the website for your cd drive - it may be that the drive needs "flashing" to read 800MB discs.
