I was told that i could copy all my data from my old hard drive to my new hard drive in my laptop.
What device do I need to do this, where can I get it from and would i need a specific one?

Thankyou!

I'm sure someone will come up with a better idea, but when I had to transfer data from a damaged hard drive to a new one I used a 2.5" (standard laptop size) usb caddy. You slot your old hard drive into the compartment, plug it into a usb port on your new laptop and just copy the data over. They're quite cheap, around 15-20 or so.
