Talk Talk Broadband feedback please

I'm thinking of going with Talk Talk broadband. Des anyone have any comments to make about the service?

Absolute rubbish. Customer service and tech support never answer phones and do not respond to emails. Surprisingly the one thing that worked was the direct debit; two months before the service finally got sorted. Think they have overstretched themselves with the offer.

Have spent the last four days trying to sort my neighbours out,she still cant get tt email.She has to pay�10 to get it, has anyone ever got it for free.Before they will even give you an e mail address you have to sign up for online billing

DON'T - my daughter is having severe problems with them after waiting for 2 or 3 months. Same problems as the others.

I've had it for a few months, got set up within a couple of weeks of ordering, and everythings been great - absolutely no problems at all, but I guess I must be the only one!

Meant to add, for oldwoman, that I get the broadband free, but then I live in London, and that does depend on where you live, and whether or not BT still own the telephone exchange.

OK how about i look at it this way?

What Broadband ISP do you all recommend?

I am looking for the following points:

1. Easy set up (I understand there may be hassle/delays because of the line but that i accept!)
2. A substantial Download allowance - say 40Gb +
3. Good (& possibly free) technical support / customer service
4. ISP must be compatible with explorer and outlook express

You don't mention price? Have a look at V21 unlimited. (PS. If you later recommend a friend, you get �2/month off).

please please please dont go with this provider. nightmare, call centre in india, hang up on you during your call, they even took double amounts from my account every month for 10 months, then said it was fraud from someone in there company.when i do eventually get through they cant find the paper work. please dont put yourself through what hundreds of people do when they try and contact this company. my 12 months is up in 9 days and im counting the minutes to get RID of them.xx
