How come my ipod is not showing up on itunes anymore? how do I get it to show again? all my songs have been wiped off!!

Use the iPod Updater to restore the iPod.

The disc that came with your iPod will have come with two pieces of software: iTunes and the iPod Updater. If you don't have the Updater it can be downloaded from apple's website.

First try resetting your iPod by holding the play button together with the middle button, for about 3 seconds. Does you iPod still turn on? If not, maybe your battery is just really flat. If so, connect your iPod up to charge and leave it for 40 minutes or so. Then you should see a charging icon appear.

If those two fail, then connect your iPod and run the iPod Updater program. Make sure you have your music in iTunes still.
