Not sure what section to put this in so please be gentle with me.
Is there any simple way to transfer my music library out of Windows Media Player into iTunes?
It may be an idiot question to ask but I can't help being a dinosaur.

in windows media player you can save you music in to a folder by going to file and save as...ect... and when you go in to itunes. go to file open folder...locate the folder and accept and let all your music go in to itunes...

hope this helps..
Do you know where your music is stored on your computer? Try looking in My Document\My Music.

If you find all your music in there, just drag the songs you want to copy across (or entire folders of music) into iTunes.
go to itunes, file>add file to library> select file/s>ok> voila!
