Problems with Nokia 6280

I recently got a Nokia 6280 (through O2) and had problems with it. They advised I send it back and sent me a replacement. i am now having the same problems with the new one and have been advised again that it is a faulty handset and to send it back.
Have I just been unlucky or are 6280s notorious for this? Should i ask for a different model this time?
Any ideas appreciated.
