Finding Computers Ram, Memory etc

Where can I find all the details of my computer ie Ram, Memory, Sound card, Video card etc? I am a complete novice so I hope someone can please help me.

What version of windows are you using ?

It is a pretty similar answer for every version, but there are subtle differences.

Are you using win95,98,2000, XP, Server etc ?

Alternatively you could go to Run in the Start Menu and type 'dxdiag' (minus the quotes) and then press return.
It's the diagnostics for DirectX but it also gives a fair bit of system information.
