By the way I'm not worried if i don't have a coloured screen, snazzy ringtones and WAP, and no bigger than a nokia 3310. Thanks!

sounds like you're after a contract phone? (have you considered pre-pay?). what's your usage pattern like? do you use minutes at peak time or just off-peak? how many of each per month? what mobile networks do you make the most calls to? these are questions that any salesman worth his salt would ask and without which it's impossible to find the right deal for you.
