I also get each message appearing twice when I check my hotmail account on outlook express and it's a bit annoying. Erm, that was no help to you at all, was it.

Try this, open outlook express ck on tools then accounts then mail you should have only one account (Mail default) if you have two of the same delete one (not the mail default) Hope it works!
