Links not working

Whenever I get am email with a link in it, it won't work and I have to put the URL ( if I know it )into IE, any suggestions please, I'm on XP with Outlook Express.

Try:

1. In IE, Go to Tools, Internet Options. Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete button. In the box that appears, check the "Delete all offline content", then click on "OK".

If that doesn't work:

2. Click the start button, and then run. In the box type "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes), and press enter. Open IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, and select Programs. Click on the Reset Web Settings button. Click on OK (Make sure the "Also Reset my Home Page" option is UNCHECKED.

Are you sure you are using Outlook Express (that come free with IE and Windows) and not Outlook that comes with MS Office.

I have had a look in the Outlook Express settings (under Tools and Options) and can find no way of changing this.

Reset Web Settings is done in IE, not Outlook Express, after resetting the urlmon.dll at Start>Run.
