Profile photo on youtube?

I cant seem to change my profile photo on my youtube 'channel' I have gone into my acount and it to edit channel info it gives me two options

1) for me to choose my own profile photo from one of my videos or
2) opt for the profile photo to be the last movie uploaded

I want 1) choose my own but it does not seem to allow me to select my pref. anywhere, I even tried selecting 2) but it still does not change to my recent movie even when I save my changes and refresh my page.

Does anyone else still favour minidiscs?
