im a total pc dummy and ive just had a huge internet bill due to downloads.

Can someone please explain this to me?

So watching videos that pple send u via email is doownloading? is it same for photos? msn entertainment videos-do u have to pay for them??

Im soooo confused!!

you have to check if you have unlimited broadband or not. if you dont have unlimited broadband you have a limit to what you download and upload and if you exceed this limit theyll charge you extra, streaming videos from the net takes up quite a bit of upload memory and if you do that regularly that might be the cause but browsing photos or documents on the internet takes up very little upload memory.
What size bill do you have, and which internet provider are you with?

"Downloading" is absolutely anything that is transferred to your PC through your internet connection, whether it's videos, pictures, emails, websites.

You don't have to pay for MSN videos - if you did they wouldn't be charged through your internet provider.
