Tiscali broadband...

ive just noticed that Tiscali are offering unlimited 8mb broadband for �17.99, far cheaper that NTL/Telewest.

Does this come via a BT line, or is an additional line installed, just like NTL/Telewest?

Any feedback on tiscali, good or bad?

I'm with Tiscali and it comes via my BT line.

I have heard loads of bad things about the customer service but can honestly say I have never had any problem at all - although I've never needed to call customer services.

Im just checking on their site to see if I can get the "up to 8mb broadband" deal, it says that my phone line will allow 2.5mb. But when I check my phone number on the "2mb boradband" deal it says that my bt line will not support 2mb. Confusing!!

Any point me signing up for 8mb when my line can only take 3.5?

i have been with tiscali 12 months paying for 8mb bt tells me i should receive 6.5mb but max i get is 2 mb like other bb suppliers they are great when signing up but leave a lot to be desired once youv done so eddiek
