I am constructing a webpage using MS publisher 2003 and frontpage 2003. I have the domain and space.

I am trying to make a logo to put on my site, which is really just a personal site. I have a picture that would be ideal, but I need to take a bit out of it. It is a round object and I can't 'crop' it out. I have no current software that will do this.

However I have old software from my previous computer - Windows Draw 6, Corel Draw 7 and Corel Wordperfect 8. I am operating on XP. Can I use these? I know that it is probably a stupid question, but I have an amazing ability to totally kill this machine without really trying.

When I got my first computer in 1999 I managed to uninstal Windows on the second day - and I just started crying. I thought that it was totally f***ed.

Any advise gratefully accepted.

thanks - nice, easy answer.

My brother is an "IT specialist" but if I ask him anything I usually fall asleep before he gets to the relevant bit of the answer.

Now all I have to do is construct my website!!

Thanks
No problem! I work as a developer (the people that write the software) and it's oh so easy to go off on a tangent. I've learnt easy answers are the easiest :o)
Send the picture to me or upload it and I'll edit it if you want.
