music video dvd to pc
2 Answers
I am trying to save a 2 music videos onto my PC (Windows XP).
The 2 videos are on one DVD-R disc. Both videos play on windows media player but when I try to save them via my D:drive the disc opens out into to two folders - Audio TS and Video TS.
When I click on those the audio file is empty and the video file is full of loads of icons I've never seen before that say windows cannot open this file when I click on them.
I am also trying to upload them to youtube and the same thing is happening. Please help!

If its an original dvd bought from music store, then you wont be able to copy them on to your pc - ( without specialist software that removes all the security )
If its just a copy from a friend- say you can copy both the folders within a folder on you hard drive. You then will need some dvd playing software like nero , which you should point to the VIDEO TS folder. I use Nero, windows media might work, but not sure.
With regards to youtube, the files in the VIDEO TS folder are .vob files which means they are dvd files. Im not sure but doubt that youtube will allow uploads of VOBs. What you'll need is some software that converts DVDs to Mpegs - prepare to wait a while for the conversion
