Why when I try to print a picture using "Windows Picture And Fax Viewer / Photo Printing Wizard", and I select "Full Page Photo Print, cropped to fit" do i get a white margin on the bottom edge of A4 photo paper?

Many printers either cannot print at the margins or need to be expressly told to do so.
On the second page of the wizard, you will find a button called "Printing Preferences". Clicking this will open the printer setup options. Exactly what appears at that point will depend on the make and model of your printer, but for example, on my Epson R200, in the "Paper Options" section, there is a checkbox: "borderless". Also of course, check that the printer is actually set for A4!

I hope this helps

Thanks rojash for your answer. Yes it is set to A4 size and I understand about the borders but you would have thought it would have centered the photo with equal margins on all sides.
