Transfering Videos to VCD

I wanna transfer some stuff from a video onto a VCD. How do i do this; what do i need and does it matter that my pc is only 64mb ram / amdk62 550mhx processor?

You need a video digitiser. Whilst any graphics card with, or a dedicated, tv tuner card will do this, you'll get far better results using a proper piece of hardware. You might be able to pick up a miroVideo (now Pinnacle Systems) DC30 - a great card that'll digitise broadcast quality video at 30fps - second hand for about �50. Either way, you'll need more memory. Even half-resolution video will stream in at about 3.5Mb/s and you'll find 64Mb is FAR less that you'll need - pick up some more since a PC133 512Mb DIMM is only �36
