my friend says if you have low battery on your nokia, you can type a special code and it will give you more power, Im sure hes pulling my leg, but just checking if anyone else had heard this?

There's an email doing the rounds saying type in *3370# .
No idea if it works.
careful its not a virus type code to shut your phone down etc etc
If you could get more power from a battery, everyone would use it all the time not when they decided it would be handy to have!
Mobiles use codes of a format *#nnnn# for a variety of purposes (such as *#0000# which gives you the flash version number, and Voda uses that format for network services... balance enquiry etc).
Also *#06# is (almost?) always used to display the phone's IMEI.
You are welcome to try *#3370#... but don't blame me if it's a self destruct LOL.
You could try asking your network or search the net for it.
My friend says that if my car is running out of petrol, if I tap the horn button 3 times it will give me more petrol. Is it true?
