Is there a reason that you particularly want WS_FTP.

I use Filezilla which is a free ftp program and it does everything an FTP program should do!

Filezilla is excellent; forget ws_ftp.

The reason I use WS_FTP is I used taht for my web site and I need it to edit it

Yes, you can.

You just need what's called an FTP client. ws_ftp is one of these, as is filezilla. The bonus with filezilla though is that it's completely free, and every bit as easy to use.

I have downloaded Filezilla. Now how to I upload my web site it starts with a http://

As with any ftp client, you will need to set up the ftp details.

Forget the http:// bit.

In the browser, your site would be
www.yoursite.com

The ftp details are probably
ftp.yoursite.com

You will need your user id and passowrd that you created when you set up the hosting.

Again, these are details you would have needed for ws_ftp anyway.

Note that some host providers require you to put your files in a subdirectory. Ones I have used are www and htdocs. These details are provided by your web hosters.
