Would that be a Z?
In an application running under Windows you can type special characters by holding down the Alt key and typing a 4-digit code using the number keypad (NumLock must be on).

Alt 0178 =
Alt 0179 =

In XP all characters can be accessed using an application called Character Map and is found in
Start → All Programs → Accessories
If you mean in Microsoft Word, you can type '2' as normal, then highlight it, then go to format (at the top) then font. Then all you have to do is tick the 'superscript' box and click ok, and bob's your uncle.
...or as kempie said. Either way works.
