I take onboard all responses as to what BCC actual stands for - my only defence is that after working in an office pre PC era (early 70's), cc stood in our language then for 'carbon copy' - BCC followed in PC speak and was extrapolated to 'Blind Carbon Copy'. I of course am happy to be corrected!
rarll, I wasn't trying to 'put you off' by stating what I did (see lisaj comment), I just don't know the technical specifications of every mail client out there having only used a few!
