Just taken over a shop, fairly new PC in shop. It's taken 3 weeks to get business broadband connected. PROBLEM ........PC running very slow......any help please

Could be a million and one things. Run antivirus and all that stuff.

Do ctrl+alt+del and click the processes tab (assuming XP home). click the CPU column heading twice. Any programs have really high CPU numbers?

download a program called codestuff starter. remove unnessasary items that startup. all u need is ur internet, a firewall, an antivirus and an antispyware program. it is available from the utilities section of this piczo website:
