i am thinking of getting firefox.whats the best site too download from?also what about all my favorites?will fire fox know what my favorites are? or do i need to save them?

You can download Firefox from the official site here

During install you can ask it to import your IE favorites.

Even once the product is installed you can also ask to import your IE favorites.
