I've just posted a sim card question, now here's another. I'm buying hubby a new phone for his birthday. He doesn't need one that'll do a million things, but he is a designer and therefore likes good design. Can anyone recommend a phone that's not as big as a half brick like his current Nokia, but doesn't need a manual the size of a telephone directory to figure out all the extras. Just a nice looking phone that doesn't weigh a ton. Mind you, some of the really small phones are difficult to talk into aren't they. Thanks everyone.

LG KG800 "Chocolat" phone seems to be leading the way for innovative design, mimmicked in the Samsung D900.

Both are average size for their type and (only having limited play) don't seem over complicated as the menu's are clearly described or pictured.

I'm a fan of the Sony Ericsson W810i
Unaware of branding / price but Harrods have a really nice range ... depending on where you live ...

Good luck buying something that is either very well designed or awful for someone who loves design ...
