why are all my searches in limewire coing up with wmp files instead of mp3s as normal?

No. I've just tried Limewire to see if there was any way to specify what type of files you want, and as far as I can see there isn't (unless you access it from the tools menu maybe) because it occurred to me that maybe you'd set it by accident. Most of the results I get are MP3 - in fact, I see very few wmp files.

i'm sure there was a way in tools to set file types , maybe i imagined it . but ..... i just shut down limewire restarted it & it's ok now . Very weird ! Thanks anyway

Hi bimbim - this happens to me quite a lot on limewire. I seem to get a lot of small wma files coming up which are absolutely nothing to do with what I'm searching for. Can't seem find a way to filter these out.
