HELP! Itunes problem

I cant get CD track names when using Itunes. When I click Get CD Track Names I keep getting this error message "CDDB Error HTTP Processing Error"
What's the problem?

Are you online at the time?

If so, try disabling your firewall for a second and trying the CDDB system.

Hi fo3nix...thx for the advice....yes I am online and have disable the firewall and norton and still no luck...any other tips?

Try re-installing iTunes, but I doubt the problem lies there.

it does sound like a firewall problem tho. are you on xp sp2? do you have norton firewall enabled or windows firewall enabled, neither or both?

hi fo3nix - i have tried reinstalling itunes still no luck..

Have you tried adding itunes to your program control in Norton (permit all) and disabling windows firewall?

hi again dawkins - many thanks for your continued perseverance...I tried your suggestion and added itunes to program control & turned off windows firewall but still no luck....
