Returned emails

I get approx 40 emails a day returning emails that I supposedly sent. I use an email address that is mail@ and you can replace mail with anything and it still comes to me. The emails I get returned have an assortment of mixed up letters to start my email address.

Do I just live with this problem or can I do anything to stop it?

I get exactly the same problem. The address after the @ is my address but before is a jumble of letters. Am getting upweards fo 30 a day. Are u with Orange?

Yep, with Orange. Its a right pain in the arse. Sounds like it can't be stopped.
