camcorder to video

Sometimes when I transfer camcorder recordings to video, the playback picture on the TV wobbles about. The strange thing is A) It doesn't always happen B) The picture plays perfectly DIRECT from the camcorder through the TV before I record (I have also used another camcorder - so can't be faulty camcorder) C) I have used different video tapes so can't be tape D) Can happen from same recording on same 8mm camcorder tape so can't be the tape. As I say it only seems to happen, sometimes, when playing back a video tape which has been recorded from the camcorder.
