Recently posted a question regarding setting up email on the Sony Ericsson K800i. Unfortunately, I am still none the wiser. Apparently I have to go to SE website for the settings to be sent to my phone, and have to fill in a form. Here is what I am asked to give:
1st is the phone model, then the country. Simple enough.
Then my network which is O2. Then the email service provider which is o2 GPRS (i presume, seeing as i am on o2). It is the next bits I'm not sure about. It asks for the incoming email server. Which do I chose. Email accounts I have are one on aol and one on the o2 site when I registered my phone, so which option from the long list do I chose?
It then asks for my email username and password. Now are these the ones I use to log onto AOL? as it says enter the email and username given by your service provider. I wasn't given any email and username although I did chose some. Then it asks for my email address. Is this my aol email address? (God, I hate technology.)
Is there anywhere that I can find out this information, preferably explained for dummies like myself.
Also, how do I setup my aol email on outlook express. (Please don't anyone say, enter you pop3 or smtp or whatever, cos I have no idea what these are.
(God, I used to be really good with technology. What happened?)
Anyway, hope someone can help.
