how do you multiply three fractions together eg 1/3*1/3*1/3

Simply multiply all of the numerators and then multiply all of the denominators.

In your example 1 x 1 x 1 = 1 and 3 x 3 x 3 = 27, so the answer is 1/27.

Similarly, 2/5 x 3/7 = 6/35.

yeah you just write along line

like that - and then on top you mulitply the top numbers - here 1 times 1 times 1

and non the bottom, you do the bottom number 3 x 3 x 3

and the answer is the whole lot whacked together

Wht about triple fractions 1/3/27 ?

This is difficult - and depends on the order you do the divisons - so triple fractions and quadruple fractions 1/2/3/4 have never caught on

This extends to multiplying any number of fractions.
Just multiply all the numerators and put this over all the denominators multiplied together.
Incidentally, to divide by a fraction, simply flip it upside down and then multiply in the usual way.
