You have no DVD recorder, er how about you have no recordable DVD in the drive, er, how about it is not switched on.

Some serious questions

How is sky connected to the DVD recorder ?

Do you use a Scart lead, if so does it go from the Sky box to the DVD recorder, then from the DVD recorder to the TV ?

Has it ever worked ?

Have you read the manual that came with the DVD recorder or sky box for setting it up.

I have the same problem. I cant record sky onto my DVD recorder. I put it down to having no sky box to record from.
Seriously though, I'm having problems connecting my DVD recorder and freeview box cos my TVs only got 1 scart input.
I bought a scart 4 to 1 box, but it just mixes the signals into the tv, so I can only have one or the other on. I think I need to get one of those fancy switching duberies I think
