The company that installs and services our projectors and interactive whiteboards is charging 160 to perform a 'deep optical clean' on one of the projectors.
What on earth is a deep optical clean?
The cynic in me is sure that they just open it up, vacuum out the dust and use a bit of Windolene on the lense.
Maybe to properly clean up a projector it has to be done in one of those special clean rooms to make sure no dust gets inside.
Or maybe it's just a con.
