I have a sony Bravia TV. When I watch the DVD (via scart lead) the picture is bright and only in shades of green. There is an option to change the hue if it is predominantly green but the handbook says this is only available when playing American format video! Can anyone give the answer please? Thanks

What sort of DVD player is it?

Its a bog standard Alba. My previous TV was also Sony and the DVD worked fine with that in one of the 2 scart sockets but produced the same effect as I have now, in the other, except that the picture then was in sepia tones! I have tried both sockets on the new TV. They are both the same.
You need to contact Sony for advice.

I expect you have tried playing different dvds, the tv is set to UK, the scart leads are firmly connected.

If you have another Scart lead, try that first.
What is the exact model number? I may have found some info.
