my keys are starting to go shiney. is there any way of restoring the keyboard keys to near new condition?

Back in the days when keyboards where between �75 and �100 a pop, we used to offer a keyboard cleaning service. We would just pull all the keys off, chuck 'em in a pillow case, and put them in the washing machine along with the other washing. These days, its probably cheaper and easier to buy a new keyboard.
