I am looking to buy a reasonably priced all in one printer (printer and scanner). I have had a normal Lexmark printer before, and the price of ink cartridges was very expensive, so unless things have chnaged, I am put off having a Lexmark. Does anyone recommend any of them? Or know which ones I would be able to buy cheapish cartridges for afterwards?
I bought a cheap (40 odd pounds) all in one from argos, dont know if they still have them, but it is a hp psc 1402.
printer, scanner, photocopier.
I have had no trouble with it, does everything in nice quility,
and I also re-ink cartridges.
Nice buy, if you can find one.
I have had various epsons, and had trouble with all of them, but had none with this hp.
Hi,
I use Lexmark 1 cartridges and have tried one compatible type but not too successfully. Instead I have downloaded Inksaver software which offers savings from 25 to 75% when printing. I will continue to use it because for everyday use, it is adequate.
Whichever brand of printer you decide on, http://www.eezytrade.co.uk have a good range of brand name and compatible ink cartridges. Cheap prices and free 1st class delivery. HTH.
