Need to fit more songs on my Ipod

I have a 2gb Ipod nano.. And I have waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many songs (im inot alot of rock bands).. is their any 'programs' or anything that can make your sing files less so I can fit more on?? My dad got me the nano last year so i feel harsh getting a new one =P Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

I'd have thought iTunes would have some kind of Burning Options menu somewhere in which you can alter the bitrate. Failing that, you could re-rip the CDs to your hard drive via Windows Media Player but having altered the format...assuming you have a PC and not a Mac.

Either way, I'm sure the software you've got should allow you to reduce the files down. It's true of Sony CONNECT Player, anyway.
