problem saving images

Whenever i try to save an image from the net i am only able to choose from either BITMAP or ART type and not JPEG is there any way to change this cos images saved as these two formats wont allow me to them after they are saved!!

To summarise: clear your history and temporary internet files (IE > tools > internet options > Delete files on Temporary Internet files and Clear History on History). Also on the Settings... of Temporary Internet files > view objects then delete anything in there that says UNKNOWN or UNINSTALLED. As a work around, when you try to save an image in the filename just add the .jpg suffix ( http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;
EN-US;250747 ).
