16x DCD writer not writing to 16x DVD-R...

My internal DVD rewriter copies perfectly onto 8x DVD-Rs. It will only copy at 4 or 2 speed. But when I insert a 16x DVD-R it gives me the following burning speeds: -

4.1, 3.1, 2 and 1.

Whichever I choose, it will not burn. Cant make heads or tails of it. Nero kepps saying "unknown burnpahe - 27 unknown error"

Anyone have any ideas????

On Digital Radio but not on Freeview TV???
