laser jet 4100mfp - printing two pages

Hi - the above printer is printing two pages every time I use it. The first page is the document I asked to print and the second page is blank.

I've checked all the page set ups etc, gone on to print preview and it's only showing one page to print so I'm a bit confused. It's end of term today in my school and I have reports to print so as you can imagine I am stressed! If anybody could shed any light on this that would be great!

Is there an ink test i can do to fix the colours on my epson stylus c44 plus?

Have you tried selecting page one only? I had a similar problem when I removed the info on page two of a file but the comp and printer did not seem to want to know that nothing existed on page two. By selecting print page one only it cured it in my case. Ex Teacher so know how you are feeling at this end of a term!!!!

Hi mrpeter - that worked! Bless you! Got the reports done and we have now broken up. Thank God. Worse term this - they are so hyper by the end!
